Calculation methodology

All calculations use USD. Annual subscription is the selected monthly-equivalent price multiplied by 12. Sales N equal annual revenue R divided by average sale S; fractional sales represent expected volume.

Baseline and own processing assume 2.9% plus $0.30 per sale, from site-config.json. Native gateway surcharge is zero. Native fixed cents that are null are assumed zero and flagged “fixed fee unknown, assumed $0”. A null selected subscription price is shown as “contact sales / price unavailable”. A null own surcharge is shown as “own-gateway not stated by vendor”. Either unavailable component excludes the total from ranking; all rows remain marked eligible and visible. Missing annual prices never fall back to monthly prices.
Rankings first choose the cheapest calculable plan per platform, then sort platforms by annual total. Feature limits and actual provider eligibility are not modeled. Effective take measures cost above baseline processing; it can be negative. At zero revenue it is undefined. Calculations use full precision and display rounded amounts. Fixed charges are stored in cents and converted to dollars once. Kit’s blended native fee includes processing; no additional processing is added.
Confidence badges follow the dataset: green means verified from vendor page with its date, amber means partly from secondary source, red means unverified. Source notes and secondary fields remain visible. Vendor-specific exceptions and geography can affect real charges. The changelog records reviewed field changes; this build performs no network verification.
